The Learn IN DEPTH AUTOSAR Configurator is a tool designed to work with the AUTOSAR IN DEPTH diploma. This configurator generates the schema or ARXML that defines the Base Software Layer Configuration in AUTOSAR. It allows you to experiment like the Coms tack and OS, offering examples that explain how to use them, and describe a complete system. Ultimately, the configurator helps you learn how to configure AUTOSAR parameters, although it does not include a generator to produce code.
prerequists :
1- Download the .NET Runtime from the following link:
https://download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/download/pr/cdc314df-4a4c-4709-868d-b974f336f77f/acd5ab7637e456c8a3aa667661324f6d/windowsdesktopruntime-6.0.36-win-x86.exe
Run the installer and follow the installation instructions to complete the .NET setup.

2- Update System Environment Variables
• Open System Properties on your computer and navigate to Advanced System
Settings.
• Click on Environment Variables.
• Under System Variables, find the Path variable and click Edit.
• Add the following path (based on your installation location):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens Digital Industries Software\learn-indepth_AutosarConfigurator_setup
(Ensure that the path corresponds to the directory where you installed the tool.)

3- Open the Tool
• Open the Learn-in-Depth AUTOSAR Configuration Tool from the Start menu or
desktop shortcut.

4 - Browse to BSWMD and ECUC Instances
• In the tool, you need to browse to the following locations:
1. BSWMD Location:
Navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens Digital Industries Software\learn-indepth_AutosarConfigurator_setup\Example\bswmd
(Adjust the path based on where you installed the tool.)
2. ECUC Instance Location:
Navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens Digital Industries Software\learn-indepth_AutosarConfigurator_setup\Example\instance
(Adjust the path based on your installation directory.)
Final Setup
• Once you've selected the appropriate paths for BSWMD and ECUC, the tool should
be ready to use for AUTOSAR configuration tasks.
If you encounter any issues during installation or configuration, check that all required paths are set correctly and that .NET Runtime is installed properly.
